The Associates' Monthly Outing and Ludotherapy with the Sisters

Last Thursday, March 30, the day was beautiful, the spring was telling us about the love of God and the songs of the little birds accompanied us. This day coincided with the outing when the Associates invite the older sisters every month and with the in the afternoon.

In the morning, the invitation was to visit the forest of Chapultepec. The sisters told us how they enjoyed feeding the ducks on the lake, the flowers and especially the jacaranda trees covered in flowers this season. When coming back in the evening, my community “Incarnation”, attended the afternoon Ludotherapy (also called therapy because of the games) with our beloved older sisters of the Sacred Family House community in Casa San Ángel. The theme of the therapy was to draw a picture and share it with each other. This activity is performed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each week for one hour (4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.).

During the therapy, the older sisters were asked to draw something they liked. And they began to make their drawings with the memories of that outing in the morning and their childhood memories. There were images of beautiful trees, flowers surrounding God, which is the center of everything, pastures of different shades of green adding freshness to the weather and beautiful mushrooms growing between the trunks. At the end of the session, a chant of thanksgiving was sung to God, for the spring and for everything He gives us day by day.

I give glory to God, for letting me share that happiness and joy of the Sisters, which filled my spirit and my heart with their love.
