1944 The Congregation celebrates its 75th Anniversary. The Sisters now number 950 serving in hospitals, schools, orphanages, homes for the aged and social welfare centers owned or operated by the Congregation in 17 dioceses in Mexico, the United States and Ireland.

1950's This is a progressive and hope-filled period in the Congregation as women continue to join the community and religious congregations of women work together to develop more holistic formation programs. Large amounts of resources are concentrated on higher education and professional preparation of the Sisters to ensure the quality of the different ministries. Many obtain master’s and doctoral degrees at universities in the United States and Europe. To prepare for formation ministry, two study at Regina Mundi in Rome. Sisters in Mexico and the United States expand the traditional works as well as respond to the increasing need for more social welfare centers which serve, in particular, the needs of women and children. Increasingly, we work side by side with the laity in our ministries.

1950 Silver Jubilee of our foundation in Dunmore, Ireland is celebrated. ▪ Reverend Mother visits Rome, Italy, for the Holy Year and participates in the First General Congress addressing the need for adapting Religious Life to modern times.
