Two Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word have shared their powerful stories of service and journey in religious life in two distinct magazines.

The latest edition of “Nuestra Familia Catolica” produced by the Catholic Extension Magazine features Sister Rosa Maria Icaza. Sister Rosa Maria is one of three women religious featured. www.catholicextension.org/magazine/

Additionally, San Antonio Woman Magazine features the story of Sister Dorothy Ettling along with five other Catholic religious women from San Antonio. www.sawoman.com/

In July, 2006, the San Antonio Express-News sent a team of journalists to Chiapas, Mexico, to report on the mission of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word to help indigenous coffee growers.  As a result of the Sisters' work, the coffee from Chiapas is now being sold to five European nations.
