Praised be the Incarnate Word!

On Saturday, August 29, we gathered as a religious family to express our gratitude for the life that Sister Rosantina Garzafox Calles has devoted and shared in the Initial Formation Ministry. Sister Tere Maya expressed her gratitude for the way Sister Rosantina has accompanied many generations and for her commitment with the Congregation.

In addition, Sister Tere Maya appointed Sister María de la Cruz Íñiguez Padilla as Mistress of Novices.

After expressing our gratitude to Ross and welcoming Maricruz, we were very glad to accompany our Sister Rosa Ana Line Sarmiento Avendaño in her “Yes” as she accepted to follow Jesus, the Incarnate Word.

The celebration allowed us to welcome the Sisters who were present and those who accompanied us by zoom, recognizing that God’s love dwells in every person.

Sister María de la Luz Cardona, General Counselor, received Ana Line’s petition to enter the Novitiate, at which time Ana Line committed herself to live in a spirit of charity, obedience and simplicity; the CCVI Charisma and Mission, and Sisters made a commitment to pray for her. Sisters Tere Maya and Maricruz gave the new novice a welcome message.

We continued with the celebration in the Novitiate, sharing some delicious “tamales”.

Sisters, we are grateful to each one of you who accompanied us personally and through Zoom. May the Incarnate Word grant us that the face of each CCVI Sister may radiate joy, because consecrated life is a life of fullness.
