December 7th, 2019 found a group of Incarnate Word Associates from San Antonio communities, along with several vowed Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, gathered in the Madeleine Room of the Heritage Center for an Advent Retreat, facilitated by Sister Brigid Marie Clarke.
The group joined the Sisters and Residents of the Village at Incarnate Word for Mass at St. Joseph’s Chapel, followed by a delicious lunch served in the Madeleine Room.
The Associates experienced the joy of being together, sharing stories, and listening to words of guidance and wisdom from Sister Brigid Marie Clarke.
The hope is that additional Associates from far and near, will be in attendance at the next retreat. It is a means of spiritual growth and strengthening of the Incarnate Word Associate communities, as well as a fun time as the Associates celebrate together.
