Pre-Novices gathered with CCVI Sisters at Emmaus Community

On Saturday, January 21, a simple ceremony was held at Emmaus Community to welcome our two new pre-novices, Marileth Cabrera and Christi Sanchez.

Present were members of the GLT,  the formation team, Emmaus community, contact sisters, Sister Adriana Calzada and Miriam Bannon.  Sister Brigid Marie, Prenovitiate Director, led the service and Sister Tere Maya presented each of the pre-novices, including Miriam Bannon, with a medal of the Incarnate Word.

The formation manual calls for a simple welcoming ceremony held within the formation community since living in community is so much a part of our pre-novitiate process. Hopefully all will have an opportunity to welcome each of these women sometime during their formation process!

We are grateful to the Emmaus Community (Sisters Jane Farek and Eleanor Geever and Pauline O’Donoghue) and the Casa Guadalupe Community (Sisters Peggy Bonnot, Laura Magowan and Elizabeth Youngs, SCL ) for serving in our prenovitiate formation process.
