UIW Campus Bajio hosted 2nd Celebration of the Incarnate Word Day

On Friday, March 24, 2017, the Educational Community of the Incarnate Word University in Bajío and the Educational Community of the Liceo Cervantino which is part of the University, carried out their 2nd Celebration of the Incarnate Word Day, beginning with the Eucharist at 10:00 am, officiated by His Excellency Mr. José de Jesús Martínez Zepeda, Diocesan Administrator Bishop and concelebrated by the Rector of the Diocesan Seminary Fernando Torres, who were supported by the seminarians and students as acolytes.

Pope Francis in his message to the whole world, Laudato Si, challenged us to take scientific findings about climate change and global warming seriously, but he noted that spirituality is needed as much as science. He wrote, “’Praise be to you, my Lord’. In the words of this beautiful canticle, Saint Francis of Assisi reminds us that our common home is like a sister with whom we share our life and a beautiful mother who opens her arms to embrace us.
