What do we do?

We are called to see God in each person and respond to the needs of our time.

We live in community and serve the people of God in cities, rural areas and indigenous villages in Chile, Colombia, Ireland, Mexico, Peru and the United States.

Three young women committed their lives to bringing the healing and saving love of the Incarnate Word to the people of Texas in 1869. We continue to respond to this call to serve and to promote human dignity within present realities.

Education Ministries

We work as administrators and teachers in all levels of education – from kindergarten to university.

Health Ministries

We are leaders, nurses, social workers and chaplains in our extensive health ministry of hospitals, hospices, community clinics and other health programs.

Pastoral and Social Ministries

We use our gifts to serve God by empowering people, especially women and children. Our diverse programs extend from faith formation in parishes, retreat leadership and spiritual development for groups and individuals, elder care and in-home nursing services, prison ministry and personal counseling.

Office of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation

Our Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation ministry (JPIC) responds to the suffering Christ in the world today by providing a space for dialogue, exchange and embodying values of justice, peace and integrity of creation in today’s society and the different CCVI ministries.
