Our WGC Immersion Trips go beyond charity and into social analysis and action of sustainable development strategies in economically disadvantaged areas.

For 16 years as a San Antonio nonprofit – a ministry of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word – WGC has been leading cross-cultural excursions to places such as Peru, Tanzania and Zambia, where volunteers work relationally with international partners in ongoing women and girl empowerment projects.

Whether you’re a community member wanting to go deeper or expand your horizons, a student looking for educational research or learning opportunities, or a professional eager to share your skills and talents, please consider a trip!
