Sisters and students supporting women together

Last year the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word launched an award for their ministry of congregational education with the purpose of promoting new projects aimed at benefiting the broader community of women.

This opportunity for community work with a purpose aligned with the congregational charism was opened to students from CCVI secondary schools, CCVI high schools, and CCVI universities in Mexico, the United States, and Peru. It was a call to receive proposals for projects that empower women and was announced under the name: “Sisters supporting women for a better world. CCVI Recognition of the Empowerment of Women.”

Once the call was opened, the students’ projects did not stop arriving, so an enormous selection of work had to be done due to the large number of good ideas proposed by our students.

Today, we are proud to share with you the winning projects of 2021 and also to announce that this support and recognition will open the 2022 call in the coming days. CCVI colleges and universities will receive the invitation letter with instructions for students to apply.
