We celebrate the Incarnation of the Word

Praised be the Incarnate Word!

We celebrate the Incarnation of the Word, God’s option for humanity and all creation. Our Congregation continues to live the Chapter process with the intention of reflecting this mystery with Presence and Communion. May this intention be a reason to celebrate today!

The mystery of the Incarnation reminds us God is present.  Our spirituality challenges us to recognize the signs of presence and communion in the world as it is: still suffering the effects of the pandemic, pained by the displacement of so many migrants or refugees, and by the brutality of war. The UISG (Union of Superiors General) is celebrating its Plenary Assembly with the theme, “Embracing Vulnerability on the Synodal Journey.” May our prayer today echo this process of religious life worldwide: let us embrace vulnerability to make the synodal journey.  May our General Chapter 2022 offer this witness to all around us.

Happy Feast day!
