At the recommendation of the Incarnate Word Academy’s Board of Trustees, the US Ministry Council has appointed Ms. Sharon Gerken as President of Incarnate Word Academy.

Sharon is a graduate of IWA (1978) and many of you probably know her because she has been a very active alum of the school, attending most of the public events of the school.

Until July 1, 2021, Sharon will continue in her present position as Executive Director of the Archdiocesan Today and Tomorrow Educational foundation in St. Louis. This Foundation funds scholarships for many students in the elementary schools of the Archdiocese. Dr. Randy Mikolas will continue as IWA’s President until July.

Please pray that both Sharon and Dr. Randy can lead Incarnate Word Academy into its very challenging future.
