IWA’s celebration of the 150th Jubilee
For the IWA’s celebration of the 150th Jubilee, they installed a large (40 feet long!) mural with the “A Life for God / A Heart for Others” motto in the main hallway of the administration building. In addition, there are also large posters with the motto in each building on campus, as well as a smaller version in each classroom.
Solemn Vespers in St. Louis, Missouri
The Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word living in Missouri were privileged to hold the premier event celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Congregation’s founding in San Antonio, Texas, in 1869. On Friday evening, March 1, 2019, about 150 persons gathered in St. Ann Catholic Church, Normandy, Missouri to pray and sing Solemn Vespers. Thus began the weekend-long commemoration.
