This Tuesday, June 9, 2020 – 6:30 pm CDT, Home2Home San Antonio presents: Sister Martha Ann Kirk “Together We Can Make Things Better”.

Sister Martha Ann Kirk, Th.D. is a “descendant” of those three young women who came in 1869 when 10% of San Antonio had died of plagues and the mayor urgently asked for help.  Her “family” is known for saying, “People are in need, let’s think, together we can make things better.”

She has had the joy of learning with over 7000 students since she stared at Incarnate Word College (now University) in 1972 in arts and religious studies.

Look at a five-minute film about her life and work:

Now 47,000 people work in the Incarnate Word Sisters’ networks of service in U.S., Mexico, Peru, Chile, and Columbia. This all began when three young women responded in a plague.

Join us for a conversation about listening, compassion, flexibility, and resiliency.
