Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word and Headwaters at Incarnate Word sign a Conservation Easement agreement
Dear Friends of our Incarnate Word Family,
Praised be the Incarnate Word!
Only a wholehearted Congregational commitment to the future could bring our Sesquicentennial Jubilee year to a close. Our Jubilee called us to transform our heritage into legacy, trusting that God is calling us to transformation in every aspect of our congregational life.
These prayers were prepared and used for the CCVI Holy Week Retreat for our Jubilee Year, 2019. They were a source of unity and solidarity for us as we prayed our retreat together. They are provided here as a resource for our Holy Week prayer this year; may they bring all who pray them into our community of prayer and concern.
On Thursday, March 5, at Casa San Ángel, we had the monthly visit to the Sisters at the Infirmary to have the closing of the Jubilee Activities with them.
By Sr. Sarah Lennon, CCVI.
For the IWA’s celebration of the 150th Jubilee, they installed a large (40 feet long!) mural with the “A Life for God / A Heart for Others” motto in the main hallway of the administration building. In addition, there are also large posters with the motto in each building on campus, as well as a smaller version in each classroom.
December 19, 2019, Chimbote, Peru.
Welcome words, by Sister Tere on the occasion of the celebration in San Antonio of the 150 years of the Congregation.
This 8th of November, at Chimbote, we held a Conference of the Spirituality in Incarnation. We were accompanied by 160 people and it was, above all, a call for a great youth group.
