For the competitive internship, WGC selects motivated and dedicated high school girls from the San Antonio Metropolitan Area who promote a commitment to live as citizens of the world.

The students participate in transformational leadership development opportunities throughout the school year and act as ambassadors for WGC’s mission of inspiring women and girls to be caring, connected, smart and strong.

The internship culminates with the team designing, directing and executing the WGC Girls Global Summit in the spring. This flagship local educational event attracts over 250 middle and high school girls from throughout Bexar County.
